T.E. Scott & Associates, Inc. is a boutique design firm that provides landscape architecture, green building, stormwater management, and natural sciences environmental services. We provide our specialized services to other consultants - primarily architectural and civil engineering/surveying design firms, those engaging in land improvement activities, and municipalities.
The founder of T.E. Scott & Associates, Inc. is Theodore E. Scott, PE, CPESC. Prior to starting his own firm, Ted was a Principal with a mid-sized Maryland-based A/E firm. With years of specialized experience, he has been very successful at applying creative solutions to challenging water resources, land development, and management problems with a consistently achieved goal of enhancing value for his clients.
A practicing Professional Engineer, Ted has over 20 years experience in site and stormwater management design. His experience with most aspects of land improvement design coupled with his specialization in stormwater design issues provides unique insight into the current trends in stormwater management.
As an extension of his firm's consulting services, Ted develops and communicates techniques, design processes, and software tools that reduce time required for performing iterative computations. He helps designers transition to green site design that with integrated innovative stormwater management.
As a continuum of his stormwater management specialization, Ted has also founded Stormwater Maintenance, LLC, a construction firm that provides inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction of stormwater management facilities and other infrastructure. With a goal of helping landowners and managers minimize costs associated with owning and operating drainage related infrastructure, Stormwater Maintenance, LLC currently operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic and northeastern United States.
