Ted Scott will be conducting a full-day pre-conference workshop focused on the inspection and maintenance of stormwater management infrastructure entitled “Post-Construction Stormwater Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair." 

He will then be presenting three papers during the conference.  The first paper, “Underground Detention: Out Of Sight And Out Of Mind, Until...” is a case study of maintaining and underground facility.  Mr. Scott’s second presentation of “Low Impact Development Site Design Separating The Possible From The Impossible” will focus on design challenges associated with a popular state-of-the art stormwater strategy.  Lastly, he will present “Green Metrics and Stormwater Management Design”, a paper exploring stormwater management and the emerging “Green Building” trends.

The primary presenter is Theodore (Ted) Scott.  Ted is a Professional Engineer with over twenty years experience in the design, maintenance, and construction of site and stormwater management systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  A seasoned and lively presenter, last year Mr. Scott held a series of workshops throughout the US on innovative stormwater management design. He has been an invited speaker for numerous organizations on topics including Green Building site and stormwater, innovative stormwater management design, bioretention, and stormwater maintenance and repair.. His perspective includes both design and operations, as he represents a wide range of property owners and managers, from small commercial landowners to Fortune 100 retailers.
